Multi Award winning Feature Documentary 2011
This feature length documentary haas taken the story of a small community in Mayo and brought it to a world cinema audience.
The documentary has gathered and impressive collection of awards and honorable mentions for many international film festivals and also a couple from home, including an IFTA for best documentary.
This was a mammoth project for us!!
The director lived and shot in the community over a 4 year period, so there was no shortage of footage.
Riverside Television provided the post facilties and also the aerial footage for the project.
The edit lasted a total of 8 months but was definitely worth all the hard work when it premiered at the Galway Film Fleadh where it received a standing ovation but that was only the beginning for The Pipe.
Its still picking up awards over a year later.
